Samples Overview
The sample library is the heart of JennyERP. It turns your physical wall of swatches into a searchable, shareable digital catalog that your whole team — and your customers — can use.
What a sample holds
Each sample is a record with:
- Photos — one or more images of the fabric
- Identity — internal code, style number, name (and English name)
- Type — Woven, Knit, Print, Dyed, Technical, Lace or Denim
- Specs — composition, width, weight, main color
- Tags — free keywords for filtering
- Variants — color options with color codes (see SKU & Color Variants)
- Visibility — control whether each image is public, internal, or private
The library view
Open Samples from the main menu. You can:
- Browse in grid or list view
- Search by code, name, composition or other fields
- Filter by type and tags
- Use AI image search to find lookalikes from a photo
Image visibility
Every sample image has a visibility level so you control what customers can see:
| Level | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Public | Anyone — appears on public share pages |
| Internal | Everyone in your company |
| Private | Only the person who uploaded it |
Set images you want customers to see as Public; keep factory or cost-related images Internal or Private.
