Warehouse Management

Track where your stock physically sits by setting up one or more warehouses — a main warehouse, an overseas hub, a sample room, and so on. Stock movements, transfers and stocktakes all reference a warehouse, so a clean warehouse list keeps your inventory accurate.

Open Warehouses from the main menu to see every warehouse as a card.

What a warehouse holds

FieldNotes
NameRequired. How the warehouse appears everywhere else (documents, transfers, stocktakes).
Person in chargeOptional. The staff member responsible for the location.
AddressOptional. Where the warehouse is.
RemarkOptional free-text note.

Add or edit a warehouse

  1. Click Add warehouse (or the edit icon on a card).
  2. Fill in the name and any optional details.
  3. Click Save.

You can also delete a warehouse from its card. Deletion asks for confirmation first.

The default warehouse

One warehouse is marked as the default. It is suggested first when you create stock documents, so your most-used location is always one click away. The default warehouse is shown with a star and sorted to the top of the list.

To change it, open the warehouse you want and choose Set as default.

Search

Use the search box to filter warehouses by name, person in charge, or address — handy once you run more than a handful of locations.
