Completion

Not yet available

The production module isn't open in JennyERP yet — we're polishing samples, partners, inventory & finance first. This page describes the upcoming module so you can see what's ahead.

A completion receipt records finished fabric coming off production and into stock. You enter the output roll by roll — each piece with its roll number, color and length — and JennyERP sums it into a piece count and a total yardage, then books it into the warehouse you choose.

Each receipt carries its own WG number (e.g. WG-…).

The completion list

Go to Completion to see every receipt, most recent first. Each row shows:

ColumnMeaning
WG numberThe completion receipt number
DateWhen the goods were booked in
ProductThe finished product
OrderThe linked production order (SO number)
WarehouseWhere the goods were received
PiecesNumber of rolls / pieces
Total yardsSummed length across all rolls

Search by WG number, linked order or product.

Create a completion receipt

Go to Completion → New and:

  1. Pick the warehouse the finished goods go into
  2. Set the date
  3. Optionally link the production order and the outsourcing round the output came from
  4. Name the product (e.g. Rayon · Navy)
  5. Fill in the roll detail table, then create the receipt

Roll detail table

Finished fabric comes off as a set of rolls, each a slightly different length, so completion is recorded per roll rather than as one lump figure. For each roll you enter:

FieldMeaning
RollThe roll / piece number
ColorColor of that roll
SpecSpecification, where it varies by roll
YardsLength of the roll

Add a row per roll. As you type, JennyERP keeps a running total yards at the foot of the table, and the piece count is the number of rolls.

Auto-sum into stock

When you save the receipt, the per-roll lengths are summed into:

  • A piece count (how many rolls)
  • A total yardage (the combined length)

and the finished goods are booked into the chosen warehouse, so your inventory reflects the real roll-by-roll lengths you produced — not a rounded estimate.

The detail page shows the full roll table with its totals, so you always have the exact breakdown of what was booked in.

TIP

Recording each roll keeps cut planning and stock figures accurate, and matches the per-roll detail you use elsewhere — on sales orders and purchase orders.
